

MS Team successfully completed the migration of the corporate portal from SharePoint Portal Server 2003 to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 for one of the biggest Russian banks.
The project consisted of two parts — the migration of the corporate portal from Microsoft SharePoint 2003 to Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and the development of two custom subsystems. The main difficulty of this project was to make the migration without downtimes in the portal work.
As a result, the bank received a portal built on a new version of SharePoint Server with new features and enhancements that improve the performance of the portal in a geographically distributed network.
MS Team has successfully completed an implementation of a KPI (key performance indicators) system for one of the biggest Russian electrical retail chain.
The system was developed on the platform of
Microsoft Office Performance Point Server 2007
, an integrated performance management application.
The KPI solution, developed by MS Team specialists, consolidates data from various sources, visualizes key performance indicators (KPI) and provides a user with tools for business performance analysis.
The client — is one of biggest Russian electrical retail chain, employing 3000 staff, it includes 70 branches and offers consumers 45 000 items. With rapid business growth, the client faced a problem of business data consolidation and its further analysis, and staff performance analysis. MS Team specialists developed a KPI solution that solved the information consolidation problem and gave managers various tools for data analysis and mining. What is more the system’s platform facilitates business planning and budgeting that will certainly help the company remain competitive and make the right strategic decisions.
INETA Europe in collaboration with Microsoft has organized the 1st European Silverlight Challenge. 20 Countries from all across Europe have been involved in this 1st Challenge developing the best Rich Internet Application with Microsoft Silverlight. With unlimited creativity the entries demonstrated the true potential of this amazing platform.
Being on the edge of the modern technologies, MS Team embraced this exciting opportunity to promote Silverlight and participated in the Challenge. Although our Jigsaw Video Puzzle hasn't won the top place, the work of our team was recognized by the judges and it was awarded a special prize.
