We like to say that we specialize in business software development on Microsoft
platform. The Microsoft platform thing is pretty clear: that means we
develop Windows Desktop and Web applications using ASP, VB, and .NET
Framework. What about business software? What is business software
and why we like to develop it?
Business Software is something used in a company, required to run a particular
business better. There are many words to denote different types of business
software: CRM, ERP, B2B – you know the buzzwords. While people
generally think that these buzzwords concern just the Fortune 100 companies,
business software is used by almost any company every day. A simple contact
manager with a mass-emailing is a CRM package, an RFQ post/bid site is a B2B
application, and so on.
We like to develop business software, because:
Business people know what they need.
Businesses need software to operate better, increase profits, and therefore they are ready to pay for it.
Home PC users do not want to pay for example for instant messaging programs or
peer2peer apps, so the developers have to generate revenue by putting ads into
their programs. This makes your PC screen look like a TV during an ad flick.
We have a record of successful projects, some of which were not imaginable to us
10 years ago. A Budget Management Software that pulls data from enterprise
SAP R3 accounting and allow managers of a Fortune 100 company to track
their budgets every day. A Project Initiation Workflow System to
streamline the process of requests and approvals for spendings that had not
been planned and budgeted. Ironically, that system was developed for ANOTHER
Fortune 100 company, even though it would be a great fit for the budget
management. These huge projects were implemented through US-based consulting
firms that outsourced programming work to MS Team. This is the
way we like to work. Complex projects require on site presence. This creates an
excellent opportunity for a local consulting company which can get a project,
perform the elaboration and deployment phases, while
outsourcing the actual development to a company with strong technical
and project management expertise.
Even though we like to mention the biggest projects we’ve done, we have also
developed many smaller applications for smaller businesses. That
includes CRM systems, E-Learning, Inventory Tracking, Custom Payroll packages,
E-Shops, and others. All businesses work the same way even if they are
operating in different industries. We quickly learn the industry specifics and
reuse the general business software experience – this is what allows us to
develop business software that the users love. See other sections of this site:
