Juvenile Delinquency Center Automation
The center has a special education system, the main purpose of which is to provide individualized services that are designed to meet the needs of a particular youth. The legacy software used by the center did not meet this specific need.
The center required new software that could allow them to not only store information about youth, but also design special courses for each student and track his or her progress.
MS Team specialists developed a unique system that met the needs of the center and offered new modules for staff and student collaboration.
The software allows center staff to:
- Easily access, add, and modify student information (personal information, including place of residence, medical, and family information)
- Design treatment plans and courses
- Track incident history
- Track class attendance
- Prepare various assessment reports
- Set up access privileges
A special module for students allows them to:
- Access and read news, information about sporting events, and students' ratings
- Communicate with other students using forums and blogs
